Anonymous Misogyny Allegations Testimonies

Misogyny
Gender: Female

I stayed late at work one night and my male boss sent out for takeaway and wine. It made staying late more palatable. We had a Chinese meal and continued with work while also drinking. We consumed 2 bottles of Chablis and i was feeling tipsy. He asked me over to his desk, i was a little wobbly on my feet so he sat me on his lap. From there he squeezed my breasts and i said stop, but he didn’t. I was too intoxicated to resist him even though i said i don’t want this my husband is waiting for me at home. He ignored my protestations and pulled down my underwear and had sex with me. He wasn’t even wearing a condom. I was really upset. As i was leaving to get my taxi home he said ‘ i won’t tell if you don’t tell’. Since this episode he has asked me to work late on further occasions, where each time the same thing has happened despite me saying No. He has even proposed a weekend away at a 5 star hotel. I feel so guilty but need my job. He often says derogatory things about women in the office, and often tells me that women are only good for one thing.

I have been working at my job which i love for just over 3 years now. The only negative is that my boss is always saying negative things about the female staff. I don’t know how to tackle it because although i work with women, they are mainly really nice and feminine. He makes derogatory marks about them and me. I once pulled him up about it when he commented on my rear. His response was ‘ you like working here don’t you ‘.
